沙最大農業肥料廠 後年投入生產

Malaysia still consider as agricultural based contry. Really hope that our country can produce organic fertilizer than chemical fertilizer in large quantity. So that our earth soil get richer in term of nutrients year by year. And Malaysia not so demanding on import fertilizer in billion ringgit malaysia.

（亞庇訊）沙巴州最大的農業肥料工廠將於2009年，在拿篤油棕綜合工業園（POIC）投入生產。

沙州政府已透過沙巴油棕綜合工業私人有限公司，發展上述肥料工廠。

該工廠將由Proto Asli私人有限公司操作，並計劃在1年內能生產出15萬公噸的混合肥料（尿素、鉀、鎂等混合）。

沙巴州1年的肥料需求超過100萬公噸，而大部份（大約100萬公噸）進口的肥料用來供應超過120萬公頃的油棕園；山打根現在有1間肥料工廠，每年可生產大約8萬公噸，及斗湖另外2間小工廠，各自每年都能生產2至3萬公噸的肥料。

至於混合肥料每公噸值1200令吉，工業估計1公噸的油棕園1年消耗超過半公噸的肥料。而沙巴每年進口肥料達10億令吉。

Proto Asli公司是大馬農業肥料的子公司，並將於5月14日與沙州 POIC簽署買賣合約，以證實購買後者在拿篤的11英畝土地，並預計將投資4000萬令吉及僱用150人。屆時，沙州工業發展部長拿督依旺依賓將出席見證這項簽約儀式。
