TARC Certificates, Diploma, Advanced Diplomas Recognition By PSD

Today i call the PSD, Unit Pengiktirafan Kelayakan to asking them regarding Tunku Abdul Rahman College Certificates, Diplomas, Advanced Diplomas Recognition By PSD after i saw the news paper state that Prime Minister said that 9 certificates, 6 Diploma and 3 Advanced diploma are recognized by PSD.

What i understand from the officer, the above said 9 certificates, 6 Diplomas and 3 Advanced diplomas most of them is for business not for science. And he said that the result maybe will at August. So we wait n see. Hope that all certificates, diplomas, advanced diplomas and bachelor degree (conferred by Campbell University) are recognized by PSD very soon.

Pembayaran Cukai Tanah Melalui Kad Kredit

This photo i taken during i paid for "cukai tanah" at Unit Hasil, Tingkat 1, Pejabat Pengarah Tanah dan Galian WP last month. The counter no. 8 is special for credit card. Hope that next time we can pay online for "cukai tanah" wilayah persekutuan.

Mulai 21 Mei 2007, pemilik tanah di Wilayah Persekutuan dapat membuat pembayaran cukai tanah dengan menggunakan kad kredit.

TERMA PEMBAYARAN CUKAI TANAH MELALUI KAD KREDIT
Terma penerimaan pembayaran cukai tanah melalui kad kredit di kaunter Unit Hasil, Tingkat 1, Pejabat Pengarah Tanah dan Galian WP.

1. Hanya kad kredit yang dikeluarkan di Malaysia sahaja yang boleh diterima.
2. Amaun maksimum yang boleh diterima dalam satu transaksi tidak melebihi RM 2,000.
3. Tanah yang didaftarkan di Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur sahaja yang dapat membuat bayaran cukai tanah di Pejabat Pengarah Tanah dan Galian WP.

Beef Noodle in Jalan Alor

Most of the time when i fetch my girl friend back home from Pudu station during early morning, we will stop at "ngao kei" beef noodle in Jalan Alor. Very nice.

水稻雜交新發現

I'm very happy to heard that Malaysia able to produce the rice "SIRAJ" with high production which able to 8-9 tonnes per hectare compare with normal rice with 3-4 tonnes.

Hope that with this technology, it will improve world food supply and can bring great income for farmer. Cheer!

我國農業科技大躍進，享譽國際的雜交水稻，已在本地研發成功！

RB生物科技有限公司于前年，在瓜拉雲冰甘榜德布依淡，開始了雜交水稻研發及培育工作，並已成功研發出本地首個雜交水稻品種──“SIRAJ”。

今年6月，已到了他們第3季收成的時候，估計平均每公頃有8噸稻米產量，“SIRAJ”潛能收成更高達每公頃15噸。

雜交水稻讓農夫流下的汗水，得到雙倍以上的回報，常規谷每公頃一般收成是3至4噸，而雜交水稻每公頃一般收成是常規稻兩倍以上，即8至9噸。

不但如此，雜交水稻用種量奇少，每公頃地通常需撒上100至150公斤常規谷種子；可是每公頃地只需撒上18至20公斤的雜交水稻種子。

RB生物科技公司現有成績，不單靠一昧努力，卓越科技功不可沒，因此也將開設研發中心，培訓本地農業科學家善用高科技。

一片金黃 雜交水稻的稻米和常規稻米，外觀無大差別，收割后鋪滿一地的也是金黃色的稻米。
一望無際 儘管研發工作只在150英畝土地進行，但等待收割的雜交水稻，仿佛一望無際，讓人看了滿心歡喜。	人工雜交 工友正以人工輔助方式，制造不育株，進行人工雜交。
一機多用 這架拖拉機此刻是收割機，但也可裝上動力耙、旋耕機等，一物多用，非常方便。	浸泡溫水 工友將小穗剪開后，浸泡在攝氏45度的溫水中5分鐘，讓花粉失去生育能力，成為不育株。
專家研究 RB生物科技公司顧問丹斯里蔡福進（左3），拔起一株雜交水稻，展示其稻穗給適耕莊農民和稻作學顧問何乃健（左1）等欣賞。	分門別類 工友正把『加工』后的母本和父本，放在一起，以試驗性觀察其后代品質。
原種地帶 這里就是珍貴的雜交水稻原種地帶，外圍還有籬笆包圍，因為有時晚上還有識貨者偷竊原種。	媒體參觀 RB生物科技公司邀請媒體、適耕莊農民及稻作學專家們，前往參觀雜交水稻田，狹窄的阡陌使大家不得不站成一直線，聆聽該公司總執行長陳龍成（右）講解。
小穗花粉 小穗中呈黃色的花枌（左）即是可育的；而小穗中呈白色的花粉（右）則是不育的。
營養豐富 雜交水稻的稻穗特別大和特別多，而且稻米也比常規稻有營養。	測試品質 這就是用袋子包圍起來，雜交水稻父本和母本的“閨房”，以測知它們的后代品質。

馬袖強：減輕農民負擔 肥料農藥申請免稅

Hope that the tax waive of fertilizer and pesticide import will approve by government. And I'm sure that this great decision will push and encourage agricultural industry in Malaysia.


（安順訊）農業及農基工業部向財政部申請豁免農業肥料及農藥的入口稅，以降低農肥及農藥的售價，減輕農民的負擔。

副部長拿督馬袖強在安順為《星洲日報》閱報計劃主持推展禮後，接受詢問時說，最近許多農民向農業部投訴說，農肥及農藥價格又上揚，作業成本高企不下，使農民收入受影響。

“其實大馬許多農藥，肥料都是從外國入口，這些產品的價格都依據國際原油價格上下浮動。近年來，國際原油價格不斷上漲，導致這種情況發生。”

馬袖強說，農業部已經向財政部反映農民的問題，希望財政部批准豁免農藥及肥料的入口稅，讓這類產品價格降低，解決農民的問題。

他指出，農業部鼓勵農民採用天然肥料及自然方式，解決農作物蟲害疾病問題，以解決部份問題。

“我們也提供許多獎掖，鼓勵更多本地公司生產農藥及肥料。”

首相：正受評估 拉曼學院62系待承認

We waiting so long time, finally government recognized some of the TARC certificates, diplomas and advanced diplomas. Hopefully all courses offer by TARC recognized by PSD (Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam), so that TARC students who interesting to join civil service are able to choose their career respectively very soon.

（吉隆坡訊）首相拿督斯里阿都拉表示，目前拉曼學院共有9項證書、6項文憑以及3項高級文憑課程受到政府承認。

首相表示，目前當局正評估拉曼學院另外62項科系，有待當局承認。

首相在國會下議院以書面回答馬華務邊區國會議員丹斯里陳祖排的問題時表示，拉曼學院是一所每年得到政府撥款的學府，因此學院提供的課程，必須向高教部申請批准。

“根據當局檢查，拉曼學院之前並沒向高教部申請課程批准，過後公共服務局已要求拉曼學院提出申請，拉曼學院在今年4月10日獲得批准。”

香荚兰(Vanilla)的故事

很久很久以前，在墨西哥南部的热带雨林中，是当时的土族人发现猴子抢食地上一种自然发香的小豆荚，就是从那时起人们知道了香荚兰是一种能够食用的名贵香料植物。香荚兰(vanilla beans)，又称香草兰、香子兰，素有世界食品香料皇后的美誉。

土族部落传说墨西哥女神的女儿爱上了一个勇敢善良的年轻人，但由于她是女神的缘故，无法相爱，因而她就将自己变作香荚兰，从而能将快乐和喜悦带给她所爱的人，并可以永远得到她所爱的人的爱情。至今，当地人仍保留了在香荚兰丰收之后欢歌盛宴庆祝香荚兰节的习俗。

Pioneer Vanilla Plantation In Malaysia.

We start the vanilla plantation under the rubber tree in year 1998. Until now the vanilla grow up many generation. It's called Malaysia Vanilla!

Yeah, we get the first vanilla plants from researcher who from one of the local research agency in 1998. We understand from him that, this vanilla plants import from oversea start 1992. So until our hand, the vanilla plantation in Malaysia almost 15 years already.

Vanilla Flower. This flower only stay for half day. After 12pm the flower will sear and fall.

When the vanilla flower just open, we need to pollinate it by hand (manual method)
